1. Information We Collect

Personal IdentificationWe collect your email address via Clerk to manage your studio access and credit balances.
Uploaded MediaWhen you upload a video, it is temporarily stored in Cloudflare R2 storage for processing. These files are typically deleted within 24–48 hours after processing is complete.
API DataIf you link your YouTube or TikTok accounts, we receive OAuth tokens and metadata strictly required for publishing.

2. Third-Party API Disclosure

To provide viral extraction and direct publishing, we integrate with the following services:

  • YouTube Data API: We use this to upload generated clips to your channel. By using Clipar, you agree to Google's Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
  • TikTok Content Posting API: Used to publish clips directly to your TikTok account.
  • Groq & SiliconFlow: We process your video's audio (Whisper) and frame samples (Qwen2) through these AI engines. No PII is shared with these AI providers.

3. Use of Data

We use your data strictly to:

  • Verify Subscription Status
  • Generate AI-Powered Clips
  • Provide Technical Support
  • Ensure Local Compliance

CLIPAR DOES NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL DATA OR CONTENT TO THIRD PARTIES.

4. Regional Compliance: Uganda

Clipar is compliant with the Ugandan Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019). As a local entity, we uphold the highest standards of data sovereignty. Users in Uganda have the right to request deletion of their data by contacting our local support office.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard AES encryption for storage and TLS 1.3 for all data in transit. Access to production databases is strictly audited and limited to core engineering personnel.
